This two day class will be conducted at the historic Lutsen Resort nestled on the North Shore in a new room that has spectacular views of Lake Superior! Students will arrive Friday night and stay at the resort and paint Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 4pm with an hour for lunch. In this workshop Mary Jo will begin and complete a small piece of her own in short intervals over the course of the two days so you can see first hand her painting process. There is always a guided hike after class on Saturday that Mary Jo provides free for all those wishing to do so! Lutsen provides fires on the beach every night for some fabulous stargazing or watching the moon rise over the lake. Choose to attend these inspirational workshops!

LUTSEN

Many classes teach you how to paint. Mary Jo will coach you on becoming an artist and finding your own way. Mary Jo will work one on one with each participant, recognizing and encouraging individual strengths, styles and techniques. Because the workshop is tailored to instruct each student individually, there is not a sense of competitiveness and the atmosphere is positive and relaxed. The camaraderie and mutual support between fellow students is strong and supportive.
