                                                               “TITANIUM”

Collection of The Minnesota Historical Society

The art collection at the Minnesota Historical Society has a strong tradition of representing significant landscapes throughout the state. In fact, MHS possesses over twenty works of art that depict scenes of Lake Superior, spanning more than hundred years.  “Titanium” is a welcomed and most recent addition to our collection.  This moody scene of the lake in moonlit stillness of grays and blacks is a familiar sight to anyone who has spent an evening on its shore.
